C Launcher 3D is a relatively lightweight (each of its versions take up less than 10MB) app that allows you to customize your Android with animated backgrounds, 3D effects, unique 'widgets' and other colorful elements.
Once you install C Launcher 3D all you have to do is long press your smartphone background for a second to access key customization options. From here, you can comfortably add any 'widget' and pick out the effect you want for transitioning between screens. Plus you can add wave effects, snowflakes and flowers to your screen.
From your desktop you'll find a shortcut to the 'Themes' selection area to download and install hundreds of customized themes for C Launcher 3D. Watch out, though as you'll need an additional app to download any of these new styles.
